I read this book and absolutely loved it, so had to do a Arin Murphy-Hiscock The Witch’s Book Of Self Care Review.

Arin Murphy-Hiscock has been in my life for over 10 years now, I purchased ‘The Way Of The Green Witch’ and I lost my copy, so I have been searching for a replacement, however to no avail. Then I found The Green Witch, The House Witch and The Witch’s Book of Self Care.

It’s the perfect book if you want to incorporate witchcraft into your everyday self-care routine.

If this is something you are interested in, why not check out The Green Witch and The House Witch.

So let’s get into the review!

About The Book

Using magickal ways to pamper, soothe and care for your body and spirit. This was important to include in my Arin Murphy-Hiscock The Witch’s Book Of Self Care Review.

The Witch’s Book Of Self Care is the book you need to make sure you are taking time to practice self-care.

Self-care is very important and crucial for stress relief, letting go of things and making sure you are working in optimal condition.

If you are looking for ways to have a healthy mind and body, but in a magickal sense, then give this book a try.

With a plethora of recipes and information, The Witch’s Book of Self Care will give you insight into how to incorporate it into your regime.

I know that I spend more time on other things, rather than myself so it is important that I am making sure I am in tip-top condition too.

Quality and Price

One thing I was a little displeased about is the fact the hardback cover is smooth, rather than the textured appeal the other books have.

A navy blue book with pink and light gold metallic detailing and text.

The text inside is navy blue with pink detailing. I really like this aspect of the book.

I’ve noticed that the pages are really good quality, they are not the bright white, smooth type of page, rather they have a feel of parchment paper.

I have to admit, I prefer the hardback version over the paperback. The quality for hardback books tends to be better quality and does come with a higher price tag.

However, to keep costs low, the paperback version is good. I am just a bit of a book snob. So if there is a hardback version, I would rather buy that.

Well worth the money, from the hardback to the paper stock which I had to include in my Arin Murphy-Hiscock The Witch’s Book Of Self Care Review.

My Thoughts Of The Book

I already loved both The Green Witch and The House Witch so of course this would be a book I would enjoy.

Now, The Witch’s Book Of Self Care was in my top 15 books.

I’d enjoyed reading this and getting some wonderful ideas for self-care, both inside and out. Really has loads of useful information, but also giving you a plethora of recipes you can create and enjoy.

I know I do spend too much time on other things and barely myself. This gave me the initiative to take time for myself to relax, recuperate and give myself a boost.

Whether it was some much-needed relaxation or a boost of self-esteem, there was something in there for everything I needed.

The quality of the book is wonderful, it’s quite a small book so easy to hold and read.

Sometimes I just read the book because I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The part about seasonal crafts really got me intrigued. I’ve never seen anything like this and didn’t think it would be in this kind of book.

Although the other books are of a similar nature, none of the recipes are the same. Some information is similar, like aromatherapy for example. But it was more tailored to self-care, rather than your home.

I was pleasantly surprised at the content and thought it was important in the Arin Murphy-Hiscock The Witch’s Book Of Self Care Review.

Final Thoughts

I really do recommend this book and would for anyone on any path. It’s very versatile and can be used for your workings, no matter your beliefs.

Taking some time just to read through this book has opened my eyes to the things I can do just to give myself a moment of calm and relaxation.

Plus there is loads of valuable information.
